Message Boards/Forums

Well I have finally thought that I should have an official website for Talk About My Favorite Authors blog so that my readers can check to see what is going on and what will be going on in the future for this blog. I created it by using google pages and linking up all the pages onto the main page, which I’m still working on because I’ve only been doing this for the past 4 to 5 days. I’ve posted the link on the top corner of the blog in the right sidebar so you can go to the site without having to read this post all the time. I’ve been getting a lot of ARC of books by authors that I love to review on this website and I’ve been getting a bit of books to review by new authors that I’ve only recently heard of. I’ve even had a couple of interviews with authors that I’ve recently met online this week. On the official website for TAMFA there you will get updated information on author interviews I conducted on the blog with links. You will get information on ARC books that I’ve reviewd and about ARC books that I will be reviewing in the coming months. I have also set up a forum for TAMFA blog that I thought would bring my readers together and discuss the blog and give me insight on what my loyal readers might be looking for when they come to the blog so I can mix things up. It’s not completely set up yet but I’m working on it and I’m open for all suggestions. I hope you stop by and maybe use the contact page on the site to tell me what you think about the website, if I should keep it or not or if you have any suggestions on what I could do to make it better or anything else you have to say because all opinions are much appreciated.
Romance Novel Forum is fairly new message board where romance readers and writers can come together to discuss anything they would like about the romance novel. Romance Novel Forum was created for the purpose of getting people who love to read and write romance novels of any genre together and interact with each other and just having a good time with everyone on the forum. It is a community where you can post about yourself and what’s going on with your life. About movies, TV shows and the books and authors that you love to read about.

To introduce this new message board to other readers and writers of romance we are holding our very first contest in hopes of getting new members to join up with the members that have been here from the beginning and interact with each other. So we are offering the winner and runner-up of our randomly chosen contestants 3 and 1 free paperbacks from Amazon.com. And the 4 paperbacks will be any 3 and 1 that the winner and runner-up choose from Amazon.com. Now all you have to do is sign up to become a member at Romance Novel Forum and you have to post at a minimum of 35 posts to enter. Contestants have until the 1st of October 2008 to sign up and participate.
Have fun on the forum and let us know what you think of the forum when you become a member! Good Luck to everyone!
I recently joined up with this up and coming romance writers group called Romance Writers United, which I joined up because it was 1) for free and 2) it is a a group that can become something big and very useful for my writing career. It’s pretty easy to join up and all you have to do if you have a website or blog is to put up this pretty cool banner on your website or blog after you send in the information they asked of you. Here is their mission statement that I got from their website:

Romance Writers United (RWU) is an organization for the development of a positive community, working from the philosophy of abundance as opposed to competition. Our mission is to help bridge the gap between writers of romantic fiction, agents and editors; to support, encourage and promote our authors in the pursuit of publication. By working together, we can make a difference.
Membership is open to all romance writers, both published and unpublished. Members participate in a spirit of creative cooperation, coming together to share knowledge, skills, and resources to promote and build careers as romance novelists.
They also have this pretty cool forum to chat and promote your self and you published, unpublished and work-in-progress work. The founder of the group even asked me to write up a column called The Voice of Romance, for the website about all the current and upcoming releases and current work-in-progress both by published and unpublished members of the group. I’ll also be writing about any current or upcoming releases of others that I like to read personally. This is so exciting for me and I wanted to share it with everyone.
The Romance Divas annual Not Going to Conference Conference will make you feel a bit less deprived! Amazing workshops, a star-studded guest list and awesome giveaways, all on the Diva forum! Don’t miss it!

I have created Romance Readers and Writers Forum for the purpose of getting people who are of 18 years or over who love to read and write romance novels of any genre together and interact with each other and just having a good time with everyone on the forum.
It is a community where you can post about yourself and what’s going on with your life. About movies, TV shows and the books and authors that you love to read about. There is also an Arcade room where you can play some games like PacMan, Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt and much more. There is also a picture gallery where you can post pictures that you would like to share with the other members of the forum. There is also a Links room where you have a couple of places to place certain links that you would like to share with the other members. You can even add special events that you would like to share with the other members of the forum on the calendar in the forum. And also when you first visit the forum as a guest you won’t be able to visit any of the other forums except one about the rules of the board, you will not be able to access the arcade, gallery or the links until you become a member.
Here is a Test account (for viewing purposes only. If someone abuses this test account I will be force to delete the account and no one will be able to test out a membership to this forum before they actually register)

MODERATORS NEED!
Well I think it’s obvious that this is a newly created Forum and so I need some people to sign up for the Moderator position so when I have to take some time off they will be watching over the Forum for me and making sure things are running smoothly. All you need to do is sign up and post here that you want to become a Moderator and I will PM you with some questions that you will need to answer and then I will decide how many moderators I will be choosing and who they are.
Thanks for joining and making this board a place that everyone can enjoy!

Phoebe Jordan

I'm a part-time aspiring romance novelist, book reviewer and blogger. I've always wanted to travel the world and learn everything I can about other countries. Learning the Italian language is one way of trying to make that dream come true. Traveling will help me with my writing because I'll be learning about the history of the U.S., Latin America, England, Italy, and Ireland, the countries I find so fascinating while reading the romance genre. I read and review romance novels of almost every subgenre along with erotic romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy and young adult novels. You can find the reviews at my blogs, Talk About My Favorite Authors and Phoebe Jordan's Reviews. I’ve also started a live podcast show called TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan hosted on Blog Talk Radio. This show is dedicated to everything I love about romance and young adult novels. I love having romance and young adult authors live on my show to be interviewed and showcase their books. I plan to write contemporary romance, romantic suspense, erotic romance, paranormal romance and young adult when I get my writing career started with help from Keta. I'm not sure what genre I'll write to begin with since I love to read so many different romance genres.
