Tami Hoag was the first adult author that I read when I was in Junior High School. Her books were my first as a growing adolescent and the books that lead me to other authors that I called some of my favorites. The first book that I ever bought on my own was Guilty As Sin by Tami Hoag and I will always love and remember it as long as I live. Today I will be writing about 4 books that I really loved reading written by Tami Hoag. I have almost all of her books and they are mostly mystery books but she started out writing romance and lately she has been reissuing those books and I have bought them and loved them when I finished reading them. Here are the descriptions of the books from the back cover and pictures:

AWAKENED TO A DIFFERENT WORLD…
Matt Thorne had come to his sister’s rural inn to recover from an injury far from the city and his fast-paced life as an emergency room physician. Drifting between sleep and waking, Matt didn’t trust his eyes when he saw the young woman who sat at his bedside in her plain cotton dress and apron, her chestnut hair tucked demurely beneath a white bonnet, like a beautiful vision from the past century.
AWAKENED TO LOVE AND DESIRE
Sarah Troyer had been warned about the womanizing Dr. Thorne, but nothing prepared her for the shiver of desire that shook her to the core when she gazed at him. Though her life was bound by the simple Amish way, Sarah had always longed for the world outside. Her job at the inn already branded her as a rebel in her community, and falling in love with a stranger would mean the loss of her family and the only life she knew. Yet something sparked within her with every touch of his hand, each glance from his dark eyes.
Sarah was willing to allow herself a brief, secret adventure in the arms of a forbidden man. But she hadn’t counted on Matt’s passionate love—a love that would not let go, a love that could cost them both everything they knew…

But she is the one in shock when she answers the door and finds the past standing there in the person of S.T. “Storm” Dalton. Julia had painstakingly put her life together not just once but three times in the wake of his abrupt and devastating departures, and she has no intention of doing it a fourth time. Because that’s what S.T. promises he will do—break her engagement to another man, her heart, and her future all over again. Except, of course, that’s not what he calls his plan to win her back. He gives himself two weeks to convince Julia that he’s changed, that she is still in love with him, and that—despite conventional wisdom—the fourth time lightning strikes can be a charm.
