I absolutely love, love, LOVE Nora Roberts. I’ve been reading her books since my mom’s friend gave me her daughter’s old books and Nora Roberts’ book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter’s Warrior Song. So now I’m going to say that the second book in the Sign of Seven Trilogy Series is a very suspenseful novel about 3 totally different different men who were born on the same month and the same day and at the same time, Caleb, Fox and Gage. I loved reading this second book in the trilogy and I have to say that Nora Roberts is a genius! This second book was an excellent read and I was a bit spooked when I was reading it because Roberts just made me feel like I was there with her details and it was as good as the first book. It reminded me a bit of Stephen King’s work but with Roberts romance mixed into it.
This book is Fox’s book and in this book we meet third woman of then female group and her name is Cybil and she is Gage’s love interest. We have found out in this book that the three men are connected to the three women through blood somehow since the evil came to Hawkins Hollow in 1652 and since the three boys let the evil out again when they were 10 years old. Cal and Quinn have fallen in love in the last book and now it is Fox’s and Layla’s turn to fall in love. All of them learn more about the past and they have more knowledge of what they are all dealing with but it is only getting worse for them and they only have a couple of months left before July comes rolling around and all hell breaks loose on the town of Hawkins Hollow. I loved reading every minute of this book and again I have to say that Nora Roberts is a genius and I can always depend on her coming out with excellent reading material. I recommend this series for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. I can’t wait until the next and last book in the series called The Pagan Stone comes out in November. Here is the description of the book from the back cover and picture:
THE HOLLOW $ 7.99 (Book 2)(325 Pages)

For seven days every seven years, madness descends on this small town. But three men bound by blood and three women bound by ancestry to a demon have pledged their souls—and their hearts—to stop it.
For Fox, Caleb, Gage and the other residents of Hawkins Hollow, the number seven portends doom—ever since, as boys, they freed a demon trapped for centuries when their blood spilled upon the Pagan Stone…

Their innocent bonding ritual led to seven days of madness, every seven years. And now, the dreaded seventh month looms before them, the men can feel the storm brewing. Already they are plagued by visions of death and destruction. But this year they are better prepared, joined in their battle by three women who have come to the Hollow. Layla, Quinn, and Cybil are somehow connected to the demon, just as the men are connected to the force that trapped it.

Since that fateful day at the Pagan Stone, town lawyer Fox has been able to see into others’ minds, a talent he shares with Layla. He must earn her trust, because their link will help fight the darkness that threatens to engulf the town. But Layla is having trouble coming to terms with her newfound ability—and with this intimate connection to Fox. She knows that once she opens her mind, she’ll have no defense against the desire that threatens to consume them both…

I'm a part-time aspiring romance novelist, book reviewer and blogger. I've always wanted to travel the world and learn everything I can about other countries. Learning the Italian language is one way of trying to make that dream come true. Traveling will help me with my writing because I'll be learning about the history of the U.S., Latin America, England, Italy, and Ireland, the countries I find so fascinating while reading the romance genre. I read and review romance novels of almost every subgenre along with erotic romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy and young adult novels. You can find the reviews at my blogs, Talk About My Favorite Authors and Phoebe Jordan's Reviews. I’ve also started a live podcast show called TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan hosted on Blog Talk Radio. This show is dedicated to everything I love about romance and young adult novels. I love having romance and young adult authors live on my show to be interviewed and showcase their books. I plan to write contemporary romance, romantic suspense, erotic romance, paranormal romance and young adult when I get my writing career started with help from Keta. I'm not sure what genre I'll write to begin with since I love to read so many different romance genres.
