I absolutely love, love, LOVE Nora Roberts. I’ve been reading her books since my mom’s friend gave me her daughter’s old books and Nora Roberts’ book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter’s Warrior Song. So now I’m going to say that the first book in the Sign of Seven Trilogy Series is a very suspenseful novel about 3 totally different different men who were born on the same month and the same day and at the same time, Caleb, Fox and Gage. I loved reading this first book in the trilogy and I have to say that Nora Roberts is a genius! This first book was an excellent read and I was a bit spooked when I was reading it because Roberts just made me feel like I was there with her details. It reminded me a bit of Stephen King’s work but with Roberts romance mixed into it.

This book is Caleb’s book and in this book we meet 2 of the 3 women that help Cal, Fox and Gage defeat the great evil that wants to destory them. Quinn is the Heroine to Cal’s Hero and I think that they are totally meant to be and we also meet Layla who is in the next book and is Fox’s love interest. I loved reading every minute of this book and again I have to say that Nora Roberts is a genius and I can always depend on her coming out with excellent reading material. I recommend this series for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. I’m currently finishing up her second book The Hollow and I will be writing my review on it soon. I can’t wait until the next and last book in the series called The Pagan Stone comes out in November. Here is the descriptions of the book from the back cover and picture:
BLOOD BROTHERS $ 7.99 (Book 1)(322 Pages)

Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys—Caleb, Fox, and Gage—went on a camping trip to the Pagan Stone. And twenty-one years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men—and the women who love them…

It had been the Pagan Stone for hundreds of years, long before three boys stood around it and spilling their blood in a bond of brotherhood, unwittingly releasing a force bent on destruction…

Every seven years, there comes a week in July when the locals do unspeakable things—and then don’t seem to remember them. The collective madness has made itself known beyond the town borders and has given Hawkins Hollow the reputation of a village possessed.

This modern-day legend draws reporter and author Quinn Black to Hawkins Hollow with the hope of making the eerie happening the subject of her new book. It is only February, but Caleb Hawkins, descendent of the town founders, has already seen and felt the stirring of evil. Though he can never forget the beginning of the terror in the woods twenty-one years ago, the signs have never been this strong before. Cal will need the help of his best friends, Fox and Gage, but surprisingly he must rely on Quinn as well. She, too, can see the evil that the locals cannot somehow connecting her to the town—and to Cal. As winter turns to spring, Cal and Quinn will shed their inhibitions surrendering to a growing desire. They will form the cornerstone of a group of men and women bound by fate, passion, and the fight against what is to come from out of the darkness…

  • Nora does such excellent dialogue. I enjoyed this one but didn’t love it. Both of the books so far published feel like good, solid reads, but not exceptional.

  • I love her also. I loved this book and the following book also. I can hardly wait for Gage’s story in Dec.

I'm a part-time aspiring romance novelist, book reviewer and blogger. I've always wanted to travel the world and learn everything I can about other countries. Learning the Italian language is one way of trying to make that dream come true. Traveling will help me with my writing because I'll be learning about the history of the U.S., Latin America, England, Italy, and Ireland, the countries I find so fascinating while reading the romance genre. I read and review romance novels of almost every subgenre along with erotic romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy and young adult novels. You can find the reviews at my blogs, Talk About My Favorite Authors and Phoebe Jordan's Reviews. I’ve also started a live podcast show called TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan hosted on Blog Talk Radio. This show is dedicated to everything I love about romance and young adult novels. I love having romance and young adult authors live on my show to be interviewed and showcase their books. I plan to write contemporary romance, romantic suspense, erotic romance, paranormal romance and young adult when I get my writing career started with help from Keta. I'm not sure what genre I'll write to begin with since I love to read so many different romance genres.
