Lucien’s story was a concept that came to me from a music video. For those of you that hit my sites, you are aware that I am the mother and grandmother to 9 beautiful children. Four are teenagers. I am continuously bombarded with music videos!
One day, I was forced to watch a newly released song that my girls (there are 4 in total) were oohing and ahhing over. In the middle of the song, and the lovely graphics that were used on the video, the idea for Lucien hit me. I wrote the book in about 6 months, with constant urging by my girls.
