Okay well you I wrote about how I wrote a book on Friday, January 11. I also said that I posted about it on the KMM forum to get their critique about it and one said that maybe I should by a book about how to write a romance novel. Hey ladies! First off thank you Ivette for inviting me to this blog. I’m truly in love with it ^_^. Well the first book I’d like to recommend is called Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. This was the first romance book that I’ve read before I got into the whole “hopeless romance” phase with Karen Marie Moning’s books ^_^. This book made me cry and laugh but the romance of it is just so passionative…I hope for those of you who have seen the movie, but have not read the book, read it because I know you’ll love it! 😉 Here is a summary of the book:

Jane Austen’s first published novel, Sense and Sensibility is a wonderfully entertaining tale of flirtation and folly that revolves around two starkly different sisters, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood. While Elinor is thoughtful, considerate, and calm, her younger sister is emotional and wildly romantic. Both are looking for a husband, but neither Elinor’s reason nor Marianne’s passion can lead them to perfect happiness—as Marianne falls for an unscrupulous rascal and Elinor becomes attached to a man who’s already engaged.

Startling secrets, unexpected twists, and heartless betrayals interrupt the marriage games that follow. Filled with satiric wit and subtle characterizations, Sense and Sensibility teaches that true love requires a balance of reason and emotion.

A thousand years ago, Konstantine Varinski roamed the Russian steppes. Driven by his craving for power, he struck a terrible bargain. In return for the ability to change from a magnificent warrior to a predator that could hunt down his enemies and kill them, he promised his soul—and the souls of his descedents—to the devil.

Plain Ann Smith loves her handsome, dynamic boss, Jasha Wilde, but her daring plan to seduce him goes awry when she finds a black wolf warming itself before the fire. Before her horrified eyes, the wolf changes into the man she adores. She flees, he pursues, but they can’t escape their destinies.

For Jasha is the descendant of Konstantine Varinski and Ann is the woman fated to break the curse that binds his soul. To find heaven in each other’s arms, they have the devil to pay.

This is actually the first book of the Darkness series…Christina Dodd writes historical romance suspence and more…she is one of my favorite writers of all times…Hope you all like her books as much as i do
I loved reading Accidentally Yours by Susan Mallery. It was sad at some points because Cody is such a wonderful little boy and it’s horrible that he had that hurtful diease. Kerri is such a wonderful mom and she is so brave to have gone through so many years with Cody being in this condition. I think it was awesome how she went in and blackmailed that Cold Bastard Nathan King. But Nathan only seems like a Cold Bastard on the outside but on the inside he’s just a man grieving for his young sons own death which was caused by the same diease that Cody has.
I loved this book. I recomment it to everyone. I give it a 5 star rating. Here is the book description from the back of the book:
WANTED:
—Single mom seeks billionaire’s pocketbook to fund dying son’s research cure. Will seduce if necessary. Blackmail is not out of the question. Miracles welcome.

—Cynical billionaire seeks working mom with a heart of gold for PR campaign to improve his standing in the community. Must be willing to attend social events. Anyone looking for love need not apply.
It seemed like the perfect match…until the unthinkable happened.

Phoebe Jordan

I'm a part-time aspiring romance novelist, book reviewer and blogger. I've always wanted to travel the world and learn everything I can about other countries. Learning the Italian language is one way of trying to make that dream come true. Traveling will help me with my writing because I'll be learning about the history of the U.S., Latin America, England, Italy, and Ireland, the countries I find so fascinating while reading the romance genre. I read and review romance novels of almost every subgenre along with erotic romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy and young adult novels. You can find the reviews at my blogs, Talk About My Favorite Authors and Phoebe Jordan's Reviews. I’ve also started a live podcast show called TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan hosted on Blog Talk Radio. This show is dedicated to everything I love about romance and young adult novels. I love having romance and young adult authors live on my show to be interviewed and showcase their books. I plan to write contemporary romance, romantic suspense, erotic romance, paranormal romance and young adult when I get my writing career started with help from Keta. I'm not sure what genre I'll write to begin with since I love to read so many different romance genres.
