I loved reading Accidentally Yours by Susan Mallery. It was sad at some points because Cody is such a wonderful little boy and it’s horrible that he had that hurtful diease. Kerri is such a wonderful mom and she is so brave to have gone through so many years with Cody being in this condition. I think it was awesome how she went in and blackmailed that Cold Bastard Nathan King. But Nathan only seems like a Cold Bastard on the outside but on the inside he’s just a man grieving for his young sons own death which was caused by the same diease that Cody has.
I loved this book. I recomment it to everyone. I give it a 5 star rating. Here is the book description from the back of the book:
—Single mom seeks billionaire’s pocketbook to fund dying son’s research cure. Will seduce if necessary. Blackmail is not out of the question. Miracles welcome.

—Cynical billionaire seeks working mom with a heart of gold for PR campaign to improve his standing in the community. Must be willing to attend social events. Anyone looking for love need not apply.
It seemed like the perfect match…until the unthinkable happened.
I wrote the beginning of a book when I was just starting out in high school and I wrote about 40 pages, which includes the Prologue, Chapters 1-4 and the beginning of Chapter 5. I posted on the KMM forum that I needed some help with editing and to make the characters and plot better. I actually got the help that I was looking for and her name is Marisa Chenery. Marisa sent me a message saying that she would help me edit the book like a publisher would. She would know since she’s had 2 books published and is about to have her 3rd book published soon. I can’t wait to see what she has corrected with the book. There were 2 other people who posted on my thread with very helpful suggestions on how to make my book more interesting and to make my characters more human. I have taken their advice and I am hoping that they will like the end results. I put the book, which I titled Darkness Falls, in My Website in the page that is labeled Download Book Lists so that anyone can download it and make their corrections and stuff. Please if you can visit it too and come back here and post your comments or you can go to the Contact Me page on the website and send me your comments through there. I am having so much fun with this that I even started writing up a Character Profile for each of my characters. I haven’t finished it but I plan to put it in my website when I have it done.
I don’t have a cover for Beowulf and Roxie yet. I’m hoping to get it very soon. I finished the final edits for it on Dec. 16th and once it’s out of proofing I should have a release date. I’m really excited about it. This is the first werewolf romance I’ve written. Right now I have to say out of all my books so far, this is my favourite. I definitely will be writing a sequel in the not too distant future. Even though it hasn’t been released yet I do have a blurb and an excerpt posted.

When Roxie and her friend, Candice, decided on a girls’ night out she didn’t realize the Wulf’s Den would be more than she had anticipated. But Roxie soon learned to expect anything. The presence of a super-abundance of super good looking men surprised her and when the best of the bunch stared at her as if he wanted to devour her, surprise turned to amazement.

Beouwlf recognized her as his mate the instant she crossed his path and her scent filled his lungs. But he had to overcome one hurdle. She was not one of his kind–a werewolf. He had waited for years to find his mate and he would claim her even if she was a mortal. He would soon teach her all about werewolves.

Roxie is caught up in strange events. Archaic markings appear on her wrist, and strong forces threaten to tear her away from her love as two other male werewolves try to claim her as their own. Would Roxie and Beowulf be able to keep the bond love had forged or would they lose each other forever?

You can read an excerpt HERE.

Coming to Liquid Silver Books soon.

A Tournament Knight is a historical romance set in England during the times of knights and tournaments. Historical romances were my first love before I started leaning more towards the paranormals. I’ve recently submitted a second historical to New Concepts Publishing. The blurb is below, and it’s a much better blurb than the one I orginially wrote I might add. My editor sure knows how to write a great blurb. Me, I hate doing them and would much rather write the book than write one of those. This will also be my first book to come out in a trade paperback in March 2008.

To the world, and more importantly, her father, she was dead and Jacqueline meant to use that advantage to avenge herself on her father for her brother’s death. She had worried at being discovered in her ruse, but it hadn’t occurred to her that she might meet the one man she desperately wanted to call her own.

Sir Terric Aubrey, a landless knight, had expected to work the tournament circuit until he accumulated the money to by land for himself. He hadn’t thought much beyond that. He certainly hadn’t expected to find the woman he wanted for his wife facing him across the jousting field.

First of all I have to thank Ivette for inviting me to post on her blog here. She has a ton of info about romance books. I’ve even found some new books I have to look into that I didn’t know about.

I thought I’d post the blurbs and a link to read an excerpt for each of my books-ones that are out now and the one I should have out very soon.

The Blue Lotus, was my debut novel, but it actually was the third book I had written. After 11 years of trying to get published, I was thrilled when Liquid Silver Books offered me a contract for it. It’s a paranormal set in modern day with a mix of Egyptian Gods thrown in. The blurb is below.

Kendra Miller finds herself intrigued by the gold pendant her brother sent her from Egypt. She finds the enameled blue lotus flower on it lovely, but the hieroglyphs engraved on the back is a mystery she wants to solve. After innocently translating the glyphs she sets off a chain of events that can only end in disaster.

Nefertem is drawn to the woman who summoned him, but knows his love for Kendra can only lead to heartache. Being bound to the pendant, his stay in her world is limited.

Together they try to stop the disaster Kendra has unwittingly set in motion, Nefertem fights the changes taking place inside him. If they fail Kendra may pay for her actions with her life.

DARKFEVER by Karen Marie Moning

MacKayla Lane’s life is good. She has great friends, a decent job, and a car that breaks down only every other week or so, in other words, she’s your perfectly ordinary twenty-first-century woman. Or so she thinks…until something extraordinary happens. When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death—a cryptic message on Mac’s cell phone—Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. The quest to find her sister’s killer draws her into a shadowy realm where nothing is as it seems, where good and evil wear the same treacherously seductive mask. She is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to learn how to handle a power she had no idea she possessed—a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae….
As Mac delves deeper into the mystery of her sister’s death, her every move is shadowed by the dark, mysterious Jericho, a man with no past and only mockery for a future. As she begins to close in on the truth, the ruthless V’lane—an alpha Fae who makes sex an addiction for human women—closes in on her. And as boundary between worlds begins to crumble, Mac’s true mission becomes clear: find the elusive Sinsar Dubh before someone else claims the all-powerful Dark Book—because whoever gets to its first hold nothing less than complete control of the very fabric of both worlds in their hands….
This is the 1st book in KMM’s Fever Series and it was awesome to read because it had suspense, mystery, fantasy and a little bit of romance in it. It is very addictive and made me very upset when it finally ended because I wanted to know what happened next and I wouldn’t find out what happened until the 2nd book in the series called BLOODFEVER finally would be published. I recommend this book to everyone who loves to read.
BLOODFEVER by Karen Marie Moning
I used to think my sister and I were just two nice southern girls who’d get married in a few years and settle down to a quiet life. Then I discovered that Alina and I descend, not from good wholesome southern stock, but from an ancient Celtic bloodline of powerful Sidhe-seers, people who can see the Fae. Not only can I see the terrifying other worldly race, but I can sense the sacred Fae relics that hold the deadliest of their magic. When my sister was found dead in a trash-filled alley in Dublin, I came over to get answers. Now all I want is revenge. And after everything I’ve learned about myself, I know I have the power to get it….

MacKayla Lane’s ordinary life underwent a complete makeover when she landed on Ireland’s shores and was plunged into a world of deadly sorcery and ancient secrets. In her fight to stay alive, Mac must find the Sinsar Dubh—a million-year-old book of the blackest magic imaginable, which hold the key to power over both the world of the Fae and of Man. Pursued by Fae assassins, surrounded by mysterious figures she knows she cannot trust, Mac finds herself torn between two deadly and irresistible men: V’lane, the insatiable Fae who can turn sensual arousal into an obsession for any woman, and the ever-inscrutable Jericho Barrons, a man as alluring as he is mysterious. For centuries the shadowy realm of the Fae has coexisted with that of humans. Now the walls between the two are coming down and Mac is the only thing that stands between them….
This is the 2nd book in KMM’s Fever Series and it was awesome to read because it had suspense, mystery, fantasy and a little bit of romance in it. It is very addictive and made me very upset when it finally ended because I wanted to know what happened next and I wouldn’t find out what happened until the 3rd book in the series called FAEFEVER finally would be published. This book was as good as the 1st and I was totally into it that I couldn’t put it down until I had finally devoured it all. I recommend this book to everyone who loves to read.

Phoebe Jordan

I'm a part-time aspiring romance novelist, book reviewer and blogger. I've always wanted to travel the world and learn everything I can about other countries. Learning the Italian language is one way of trying to make that dream come true. Traveling will help me with my writing because I'll be learning about the history of the U.S., Latin America, England, Italy, and Ireland, the countries I find so fascinating while reading the romance genre. I read and review romance novels of almost every subgenre along with erotic romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy and young adult novels. You can find the reviews at my blogs, Talk About My Favorite Authors and Phoebe Jordan's Reviews. I’ve also started a live podcast show called TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan hosted on Blog Talk Radio. This show is dedicated to everything I love about romance and young adult novels. I love having romance and young adult authors live on my show to be interviewed and showcase their books. I plan to write contemporary romance, romantic suspense, erotic romance, paranormal romance and young adult when I get my writing career started with help from Keta. I'm not sure what genre I'll write to begin with since I love to read so many different romance genres.
